Gary Vickers

Gary Vickers is a junior on Klein High varsity and a co-captain for the 2026–27 Bearkats. He made varsity as a freshman, earned Newcomer of the Year, and in 2025 made a hole-in-one on the 15th hole at district at Margaritaville — his first ace, and sure to be the first of many. As a sophomore he was All-District honorable mention. Off campus he plays STPGA and Jr PGA, including the 17U All-Star team with Eclipse Golf Academy at Windrose Golf Club, with junior-tour wins at Gleannloch in February 2026 and Bearkat Course in May 2026. He opened this season with a personal-best 73 and a 7th-place finish at River Plantation. Gary started as a 34-handicap in 8th grade and has worked his way into the 70s. Golf runs in his family; his goal this year is to live in the 70s and keep the Bearkats moving forward.
